What's the last thing you usually do or think about before you fall asleep?

I've been having trouble sleeping again, so I've returned to my old solution of listening to audiobooks. They're pretty good at helping my brain to shut up. The last two titles I listened to were Bucking the Sarge, by Christopher Paul Curtis, and  Dairy Queen by ... I have no idea. Let's Google. Catherine Gilbert Murdock

Christopher Paul Curtis is one of my favorite current children's & YA authors. I got to see him speak last year at the downtown library. Awesome.  Bucking the Sarge feels darker than some of his other work ... maybe in that it is contemporary. Luther's another fantastic narrator, though. And Dairy Queen is about a midwestern farm girl who spends a summer helping a player from a rival football team train, slowly revealing to us how they all got there. Both of the audiobooks are great.
